Los animales nocturnos por lo general poseen diversos mecanismos para detectar a su presa en la oscuridad. Algunos desarrollan un agudo sentido del olfato, otros visión de rayos x. El Yolinete manglero en cambio, recurre a un método muy singular, pues lleva consigo su propia luz. Aún se está estudiando el sistema que utilizan para darle energía a las pequeñas glándulas luminiscentes en forma de foco teatral que adornan sus ornamentas. Se cree que como las plantas, el Yolinete posee algún proceso similar a la fotosíntesis para recargarse y encandilar a sus depredadores. Es un animal amistoso, que posee una belleza y delicadeza sin igual, sin embargo, puede llegar a ser terriblemente violento con sus presas.
Night animals, usually, possess a variety of mechanisms for spotting their prey. Some have a highly developed sense of smell, others have x-ray vision. The Mangrove Yolineet has a different strategy, it carries its own light. The system that transmits energy to the tiny spotlight-shaped luminescent glands that illuminate its ornaments is still being studied. The theory, thus far, is that the Yolineet undergoes a process, similar to photosynthesis, that it uses to recharge itself and dazzle its predators. The Mangrove Yolineet is a friendly animal of unequaled beauty and grace, yet that does not stop it from fiercely ripping away its prey.

Su trabajo busca el desarrollo a través de líneas simples, metáforas abiertas y visualidad asequible, buscando en la riqueza de los espacios emotivos y mentales la fundamentación estructural de las obras en las que trabaja y valorando el diseño como contexto estético propicio para un viaje profundo que enriquezca la vivencia teatral de todos los agentes involucrados. Su trabajo ha sido visto nacional e internacionalmente participando en funciones, procesos de residencia y giras por España, Holanda, Estados Unidos, Italia, Argentina, Brasil, Alemania, Uruguay, Irlanda, Japón y México.

Artist based in rural ​​Valparaíso with 20 years of professional experience, she has been a member of major national theatre companies and worked, as designer, in important productions with a strong aesthetic accent.

Her work is expressed through simple lines, open metaphors and an attainable visuality that searches in the wealth of emotional and mental spaces for the structural foundation of the work. Valuing the design as an aesthetic context conducive to a deep journey that enriches the theatrical experience for everyone involved. Her work has been seen nationally and internationally in shows, residency programs and tours in Spain, the Netherlands, the United States, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Uruguay, Ireland, Japan and Mexico.
