Una de las metamorfosis más hermosas que se dan en la fauna teatral es la de la Zombra. Cuando nace, su rostro esta cubierto de una pegajosa membrana que hace imposible ver los rasgos de este peculiar animal, pero al paso de los años, y luego de una dolorosa mutación, se descubre uno de los más hermosos animales que hayan sido registrado por el ser humano. La Zombra es una bestia de caminar pausado y sinuoso, y los pocos que han tenido la suerte de verlo en su etapa adulta, dicen que su andar se asemeja al pavoneo de una modelo francesa en una pasarela de moda.
One of the most stunning metamorphosis of the theatrical fauna is the one undergone by the Zomber. After birth, its face is covered in a sticky membrane that makes it impossible to see its face but, as the years go by, and after a painful mutation, it becomes one of the most beautiful animals recorded by man. The Zomber has a slow and winding gait and, according to the lucky few that have had the chance of seeing it in adulthood, it resembles a french model’s strut down the catwalk.

Nacido en 1971 , con estudios en Publicidad y Licenciatura en Arte Mención en Diseño Teatral, comienza su trabajo artístico junto a la Maestra Magali Rivano y su compañia TEDAT (Teatro Experimental Danza Teatro) con quien trabaja durante 7 años , participando inicialmente como diseñador de Iluminación. Trabaja junto a Herbert Jonkers como asistente en montajes como Río Abajo, de Ramón Griffero. Posteriormente comienza su trabajo como Curador y Aprendiz del Maestro y Artista Plástico Hugo Marín, realizando diversas exposiciones dentro y fuera del Chile. La primera de ellas, realizada en el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes , es reconocida por el Círculo de Críticos el año 1998. Luego de residir por 10 años en Italia y Alemania regresa a chile, desempeñándose como Director de Arte para Cine y TV. En 2011, se integra a la Compañía Teatro Sur, dirigida por Ernesto Orellana.
Born in 1971, he holds a degree in Advertising and a BFA in Stage Design. His artistic work began with the Master Magali Rivano and her company, TEDAT (Teatro Experimental Danza Teatro) with whom he worked for 7 years, initially, as a lighting designer. He worked alongside Herbert Jonkers as his assistant in the productions of Río Abajo, by Ramón Griffero and others. Later, he began his work as a Curator and Apprentice of the Master and Visual Artist Hugo Marín, exhibiting in Chile and abroad. Their first exhibit, held at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, was commended by the Círculo de Críticos in 1998. After living in Italy and Germany for 10 years he returned to Chile in 2011 to work as an Art Director for Film and TV. In 2011, he joined the Compañía Teatro Sur, directed by Ernesto Orellana.
