Travieso pariente de la llama altiplánica, el delafón es un mamífero arrabalero que habita principalmente en zonas de carnaval. Su simpática carita está cubierta por lo que parece ser una máscara, aunque realmente se trata de la textura de su piel, distinta al resto de su colorido pelaje. Sobre esta gruesa capa de pelos, el Delafón posee llamativos dibujos que lo distinguen de otros miembros de su especie. Recolector por naturaleza, el Delafón acumula objetos que encuentra en las calles y que esconde como preciados tesoros.
The llama’s sneaky cousin, the delaphon is a suburban mammal mainly inhabiting carnival areas. Its funny face is covered in what seems to be a mask but that is, in fact, its face’s texture, completely different to the rest of its fur. The delaphon is distinguished from other members of his species by the flamboyant patterns colouring its thick fur coat. As a natural collector, the delaphon hoards objects found on the streets that it, later, hides as prized treasures.

Licenciado en Artes con Mención en Diseño Teatral en La Universidad De Chile. Ha dedicado gran parte de su carrera a la investigación y al desarrollo del diseño para el teatro callejero. Ha ejercido como uno de los fundadores y director de arte de la compañía La Patriótico Interesante, desde el año 2002 y como diseñador para el Colectivo Artístico La Resentida desde el 2010, con quienes ha girado por los festivales más importantes de teatro del mundo. Se ha desempeñado además como académico de la Universidad de Chile en la materia de taller de Diseño Escénico para tercer Año de Diseño Teatral, (entre varias asignaturas). También ha hecho docencia en distintos centros culturales e instituciones como la Universidad Finis Terrae, Academia de Humanismo Cristiano, Escuela Superior de Artes de Maipú y en el proyecto de formación teatral regional Trashumantes.
De la Fuente Gálvez holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theater Design from the University of Chile. He has devoted the larger part of his career to the research and development of designs for street theater. Since 2002, he has served as co-founder and art director to the La Patriótico Interesante theatre company and as a designer for the La Resentida Art Collective since 2010. La Resentida, has provided him with the privilege of touring throughout the most important theater festivals of the world. He has also worked as a professor at the Universidad de Chile teaching the Scenic Design workshop for the third year Theater Design students, (among other courses). He has also taught in different cultural centers and institutions such as the Universidad Finis Terrae, Academia de Humanismo Cristiano, Escuela Superior de Artes de Maipú and the Trashumantes theatrical training project.
